Traveling with PKU

Teen girl with backpackWhen you're away from home one of the most important things to remember is to be prepared!

But what does being prepared mean?
Try to find out as much as you can about where you're going and what will be available when you get there. Whether you're going to a friend's house, school, work, a restaurant or another country there are things you can do ahead of time to prepare. You won't always know what's going to happen, but preparing as much as you can will help you have a good experience. There is no reason for you to miss out on anything because of your PKU.
